While initially focused on social-emotional learning (SEL) and well-being, &#8216;<i>The Brain Unit&#8217;<\/i> a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 des impacts prometteurs sur la litt\u00e9ratie en sant\u00e9\nmentale chez les \u00e9l\u00e8ves du primaire et du secondaire ayant une d\u00e9ficience intellectuelle.\nInt\u00e9grant les principes de la litt\u00e9ratie en sant\u00e9 mentale et de la th\u00e9rapie comportementale\ndialectique (TCD), il est con\u00e7u pour am\u00e9liorer les aspects de la r\u00e9silience et les r\u00e9sultats en\nmati\u00e8re de litt\u00e9ratie en sant\u00e9 mentale. Le programme destine a \u00eatre mis en \u0153uvre en classe par\nl\u2019enseignant, propose du mat\u00e9riel suppl\u00e9mentaire, des diapositives PowerPoint et une collection\norganis\u00e9e de ressources provenant d\u2019\u00e9ducateurs qui ont utilis\u00e9 'The Brain Unit'.<\/p>\n\t<h2>Principales conclusions<\/h2>\n\t<p><i>The Brain Unit<\/i> receives a rating of &#8216;3B&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">La litt\u00e9rature \u00e9valuant <i>The Brain Unit<\/i> a rapport\u00e9 des changements positifs\nstatistiquement significatifs dans l\u2019atteinte et le maintien d\u2019une sant\u00e9 mentale positive\nchez les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de la 3 e a la 12 e ann\u00e9e atteinte de troubles du spectre autistique (TSA),\ndu syndrome d\u2019alcoolisme f\u0153tal (ETCAF) et de d\u00e9ficience intellectuelle (DI). Les impacts sur la sant\u00e9 mentale des \u00e9tudiants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesures par les variables du concept de soi,\ndes capacite d\u2019adaptation et du soutien social avant, pendant et apr\u00e8s l\u2019intervention.<\/p>\n\t<p>Actuellement, il n\u2019existe aucune \u00e9tude a long terme (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 un an ou plus) \u00e9valuant <i>The Brain Unit<\/i>. Nous\nn\u2019avons donc aucune id\u00e9e de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de ce programme par rapport a ces piliers\ncl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\t<p>The full curriculum of &#8216;<i>The Brain Unit&#8217;<\/i> is part of the book &#8216;Ensouling Our Schools&#8217;, which requires purchase. However, the teacher implementation guide is available for free through the &#8216;Resources&#8217; link above. Teachers may need to create or find their own supplemental resources, as the &#8216;Supplemental Materials&#8217; link directs to a Google Drive with materials from past implementations by other teachers.
